Create a new wallet, protect it with a local password, and make an offline backup of its recovery phrase.
Create your wallet
- 1Open Wavel and select Create a new wallet.
- 2Create a strong password. This password unlocks Wavel on this computer.
- 3Write down every recovery word in the exact order shown.
- 4Confirm the requested words to verify your backup.
- 5Finish setup and review the accounts available in Wavel.
Back up safely
- Write the phrase down and keep it offline in a private, durable location.
- Consider a second secure physical backup in a separate location.
- Keep the word order intact.
- Never enter the phrase into a website, chat, form, or support ticket.
