Swaps

Compare the route and complete quote—not only the headline exchange rate—before approving a swap.

Create a swap

  1. 1
    Select Swap.
  2. 2
Choose the source network and token.
  3. 3
Choose the destination token and enter an amount.
  4. 4
Review the provider or route, exchange rate, price impact, slippage, minimum received, provider costs, and network fee.
  5. 5
If approval is required, review its token, spender, and amount.
  6. 6
    Confirm before the quote expires.
  7. 7
Track the submitted transaction using the selected network's explorer.

Read the quote

FieldMeaning
RateThe quoted relationship between source and destination assets.
Price impactHow much the trade itself changes the execution price.
SlippageThe allowed movement before the transaction fails or executes.
Minimum receivedThe minimum output protected by the quote.
Provider feeA cost charged by the selected route or provider.
Network feeThe cost of executing on the selected network.

Same-network and cross-chain actions

A same-network swap and a cross-chain transfer are different actions. Cross-chain routes may involve a bridge, additional fees, and separate completion times. Wavel identifies the action during review when available.
